Robert Bevis grew up in rural south Georgia surrounded by decaying tobacco barns, freshwater bass ponds, and his mother’s watercolor paintings. He shot his first movies on glorious mini DV before attending film school and moving to New York. His photographic approach is expressionistic and emotional.
Rob’s narrative work has premiered at festivals like Sundance, Palm Springs, Outfest, and many more; while his music video work has garnered over 17 million views on Youtube/VEVO. Rob is a recipient of the 2025 ASC Vision Mentorship.
